School Bus Video Surveillance Camera Systems

The intelligent onboard video terminal equipment on the "school bus" captures and saves real-time videos of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle throughout the journey. The recording and playback can achieve a smooth frame rate of 25 frames per second. The duration of video storage is several days or more, depending on the capacity of the storage medium (either SD card or hard disk).

Arrangement of onboard cameras

Multiple high-definition, shock-proof, and night vision cameras are installed on each vehicle, based on customer demands. Cameras are installed both inside and outside the vehicle. A common setup includes:

1. Wide-angle camera mounted on the dashboard to monitor real-time road conditions ahead.

2. Wide-angle camera installed near the driver's position to monitor the driver and the situation of the driver's cabin and doors.

3. Front-facing wide-angle camera installed inside the passenger compartment to monitor the real-time situation inside the vehicle.

4. Rear-facing wide-angle camera installed at the rear of the vehicle to monitor the real-time situation behind the vehicle and for reverse parking assistance.

4G network transmission and Beidou GPS satellite positioning:

The onboard intelligent video terminal equipment utilizes 4G network and Beidou GPS dual-mode satellite positioning. It transmits mobile dynamic videos and satellite positioning data in real time to the monitoring center management platform. The equipment locks onto the monitoring center's fixed IP dedicated line address for secure and confidential data transmission.

Remote monitoring center management

The School Bus Video Surveillance Camera Systems has a central monitoring and network management system. It synchronously transmits the videos, audio, and Beidou GPS satellite positioning data from the "school bus" equipped with the intelligent onboard video terminal equipment to the monitoring center. This allows for dual display of real-time video+real-time location on an electronic map, indicating the position and travel information of the vehicle based on GPS satellite positioning. The monitoring center personnel can see, hear, know, and control the real-time management through the displayed images. The monitoring center also receives uploaded videos, audio, and Beidou positioning information from the "school bus". Various methods for retrieving recorded videos are available, such as searching by time, event, license plate number, etc., enabling users to quickly and accurately find the required video data. Video playback operations support functions like fast forward, rewind, pause, frame advance, slow motion, etc. Video data can be backed up to a computer via the equipment interface and played directly using dedicated software.

Remote instant voice communication (optional)

During the operation of the "school bus" outside, the vehicle can call the monitoring center for assistance, and the monitoring center can also call the driver on the vehicle at any time to achieve real-time communication.

Data transmission security:

1. The data transmission between our company's backend client, server, and the onboard intelligent video terminal equipment adopts the TCP protocol to ensure data integrity.

2. The data transmission ports between the client and server, as well as between the server and the onboard intelligent video terminal equipment, are specially selected to exclude commonly targeted ports for network attacks, such as port 80 and port 21.

3. The data transmission protocol between the client, server, and the onboard video terminal equipment uses a proprietary protocol that cannot be understood by others even if intercepted during transmission.

Features of the intelligent onboard video terminal host

This is a cost-effective device specifically designed for "school buses". It adopts Huawei's chips, high-performance industrial-grade embedded microcontrollers, an embedded Linux operating system, H.264 video compression/decompression technology, 4G network technology, Beidou+GPS dual-mode positioning technology. The recording, positioning, and vehicle travel information are remotely uploaded via the 4G network. With the central management software, it achieves centralized remote video monitoring with alarm linkage, remote dispatching, and playback analysis based on a central database.

Features of the onboard cameras:

The cameras are made of titanium alloy, which is sturdy, has good heat dissipation, high-temperature resistance, low-temperature resistance, and is flame retardant.

The built-in shock-proof structure of the cameras is specially designed for "school bus" use.

The cameras use imported chips, resulting in lower noise and clearer sound during remote network transmission.

The cameras use original aviation interface shielded cables for safer and more stable performance.

The cameras are waterproof and reach IP67 protection level, effectively blocking high-pressure water spray during car washing.

Introduction to School Bus Video Surveillance Camera Systems

The Beidou video operation platform utilizes GPS and Beidou satellite positioning systems, internet, mobile communication, cloud computing, and other methods to remotely monitor and manage devices/personnel in different areas. It achieves device/personnel positioning, information collection (such as images, videos, recordings of alerts), and enables dispatching or other operations (e.g., equipment violation, theft, robbery prevention). The system also provides accurate data analysis and detailed data reports, allowing customers to conveniently output the required data.

Key features: The Beidou video operation platform client enables wireless remote real-time video monitoring, GPS Beidou map positioning, historical device travel trajectory playback, voice intercom, alarm linkage, remote video storage, remote video download, remote video playback, device area management, remote device upgrade, and more.
